A Welcome Message from the Nebraska State Education Association

Headlines of Hate

Ripped from the headlines, Headlines of Hate, is based on actual bullying events from the last four years. Each of the characters living in New Jersey, Missouri and Oregon, face identity-based bullying and discrimination at their school. There will be a panel discussion about this play during the final breakout period on March 17 where you will have an opportunity to submit questions to be answered by our panel.

It is the policy of the Nebraska Department of Education not to discriminate on the basis of sex, disability, race, color, religion, marital status, age, national origin, or genetic information in its educational programs, admission policies, employment, or other agency programs.

The Nebraska Department of Education recognizes the value of Career & Technical Student Organizations in the personal and professional development of career education students through Nebraska Career Education. Per state statute 79-772-79-775, the Nebraska Department of Education provides financial and administrative support for state leadership and administration of Nebraska Educators Rising.
